Developed as a "plain language" document, this booklet provides examples of projects and people whose work connects science and technology to the themes from the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women held in 1995 in Beijing. Linking was developed with support from the Department of Energy in connection with the 2000 Beijing+5 update conference held at the UN in New York City.
